Armenia is a country in Eastern Europe. Armenia is a landlocked country of Transcaucasia. It lies in the south of the mountain range of the Caucasus and fronting the northwestern extremity of Asia. In the north and east, Armenia shares boundaries with Georgia and Azerbaijan respectively, and in the southeast and west it shares its boundaries with Iran and Turkey respectively. Naxçıvan, an exclave of Azerbaijan, borders Armenia to the southwest. The capital of Armenia is Yerevan
